 Terms and Conditions of Participation Behaviour RBF have a very simple behaviour policy that involves a three warning system. We do not issue warnings lightly (in fact, at most of our holiday activities we never have to issue any warnings at all), but for persistent disruptive behaviour or for behaviour which severely disrupts another child's enjoyment of the activities, we will inform the child they have been issued with a warning and also let the adult who collects the child that day know. If a child receives three warnings, then we will ask they have a 'cooling off' day and do not attend for 24 hours. If your child receives a further warning after the cooling off day, their place will be forfeit. We do not offer any refunds for children who receive 3 or more warnings and the decision of RBF staff is final. RBF additionally reserves the right to withdraw the place immediately (and require immediate pickup) without giving any warnings of any child who is aggressive, verbally or physically, to one of our team or to another child or if any child is found to be bullying another. Refunds will not be offered in these circumstances. Refunds We buy all of the materials we need for holiday activities and calculate our staffing requirements on a per-child basis, so we are only able to offer limited refund facilities as follows: - Cancellation more than 56 days before the activity starts: Full Refund - Cancellation more than 28 days before the activity starts: 50% Refund - Cancellation between 10 and 28 days before the activity starts: 25% Refund - Cancellation less than 10 days before the activity starts: No Refunds Available If your child misses more than three days of a holiday activity due to illness and you can present a doctor’s note or certificate confirming their condition we will be able to offer a 50% refund for those days. No other refunds due to illness are available. If your child decides that they do not like the activity you have signed up for after the first day, we may be able to offer a partial refund for the rest of the week up to a maximum of 50% of the cost paid. Any children who withdraw on or after the second day will not be eligible for any refunds. In our experience children dropping out of activities is an extremely rare occurrence. Lost Property The Red Balloon Family accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any property, including lunchboxes, coats and other clothes, that your child brings into a holiday activity. We will not offer any compensation for items lost or otherwise damaged while children are attending our activities. Please do not send your children along wearing expensive clothes or with any handheld electronic devices. If it is imperative that your child has a mobile phone please hand this in at the registration desk on arrival.
