The Red Balloon Family as well as providing a range of different activities for children and young people during term-time also offer a program of provision during the school holidays. We run some of our activities ‘in house’ but much of what we do is in support of other groups like churches, local authorities and voluntary sector partners. If you are interested in working with us to develop your school holiday groups, drop us a line on office@rbf.org.uk

Summer 2017
We just wanted to say thank you for the holiday club that was run this half term. We have never used a holiday club before for our children so we were anxious about them attending but after the first day they had an amazing time and were really looking forward to coming the following day and for the summer holidays. Please thank [those who] made it a wonderful two days for them.

THE RBF APPROACH RBF Holiday Clubs are designed with parents/carers in mind so are highly flexible in their approach allowing children to come along for single three hour sessions up to full weeks of 30 hours. Our clubs are based on stories from the Bible but are accessible for and enjoyed by families from all faiths or with no particular beliefs. SUBSIDISED PLACES We are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of ‘Foundation Places’ which are part-funded by RBF’s wider charitable work at each club to families who are allocated the Pupil Premium by their child’s school or otherwise may find it challenging to meet the full cost of taking part - if you would like to access one of these, tick the appropriate box on the registration form and one our team will be in touch to discuss how we might be able to help. TYPICAL DAY A typical day at an RBF Holiday Club would usually consist of the following programme. We do intersperse our weeks with ‘special adventures’ like outdoor water games, local treasure hunts, photo challenges, trips to local parks, etc., weather permitting. We always make parents/carers aware of any off-site activities in advance and make provision for children who parents/carers would prefer to remain on the main site if necessary.
